Parseo/Invoice Digitization/Directo integration

Invoices into
Directo

The invoice arrives by email — Parseo reads the data, your rules fill in the accounts, objects and projects, and the invoice is pushed into Directo over the XML Direct API. Every invoice keeps one document number, so a retry never books it twice.

HowParseo + Directo Integration Works

From supplier email to Directo — everything happens automatically, no action needed from you

01

The invoice arrives by email

Every client gets their own Parseo mailbox. Suppliers send invoices straight to it — nothing to upload.

02

AI reads the data

Parseo extracts the supplier, totals, VAT rates and line items from a PDF, scan or photo. Works in 50+ languages.

03

Rules fill in the fields

Your rules assign the line account, the supplier or customer debt account, the object and the project. Accounts, objects and projects come from lists pulled from your own Directo.

04

The invoice appears in Directo

Parseo pushes the invoice over XML Direct. If the supplier or customer has no card in Directo yet, Parseo creates one first and checks that it really exists. If Directo refuses the invoice, the push is marked as failed with Directo's reason.

What datais transferred?

How does the technical integration work?

Parseo connects to Directo over XML Direct, Directo's own data interface, with an XML Direct key issued by Directo. Suppliers, customers, items, accounts, objects and projects are synced from Directo, and invoices travel back the same way. No key yet? Parseo can also prepare an XML file that you upload through Directo's own upload page.

Direct API

One invoice, one document in Directo

Directo never updates a document it already holds — it refuses the repeat as a duplicate. So Parseo gives every invoice its own document number from a reserved range and keeps it on every retry: a push whose answer got lost can't create a second document in your books. When Directo reports that it already holds the number, Parseo reads the document back and compares it with what it would send. If they match, the invoice is marked as transferred; if they differ, Parseo tells you, so you can change the document in Directo or delete it there and push again. Supplier and customer codes are kept apart, because in Directo the same code can belong to a different company on each side.
